Count Your Weeks for macOS · free beta

Your life in weeks,
on your wallpaper.

A tiny menu-bar app that draws your life as a grid of ~4,000 dots — one per week — straight onto your desktop, and repaints it every midnight. No account, no tracking, nothing leaves your Mac.

The year view — every day a dot, this month lifted, today ringed. Redrawn nightly, automatically.

The deal, honestly

  • You get the beta free — emailed to you personally, with a 30-second setup guide.
  • Use it for a week, tell me what's broken — I'm a solo dev; every reply reaches me directly.
  • Beta testers get v1 free — the signed release will be a one-time purchase, lifetime, no subscription. Yours for free as thanks.

It needs an Apple Silicon Mac (M1 and later). The beta build isn't signed with Apple yet, so macOS shows a scary warning on first launch — the email walks you past it in one pasted Terminal line (v1 will be properly signed). The app itself makes zero network requests; your birth date lives in a local file.

Want the longer story? See the Mac app page, try the life calendar generator, or grab a free static wallpaper while you wait.

Small beta, real influence — the features testers ask for are the features v1 ships with.
