Deadlines are written in days — return windows, notice periods, visa rules, payment terms — but calendars are read in months, and months lie: they're 28 to 31 days long, and February changes size every four years. How does the date calculator count days?
It adds or subtracts exact calendar days — every month at its true length, every leap year included. Adding 30 days to January 31 lands on March 2 (or March 1 in a leap year), because that is what the calendar actually does.
Does "days from today" include today?
No — day 1 is tomorrow, matching how deadlines are almost always counted. "0 days from today" is today itself.
Can it count business days instead?
