Why story wallpapers

Most minimal wallpapers are gradients or geometry — calm, but empty. These are the opposite bet: a full scene, drawn in one ink, quiet enough to live behind your icons but rich enough to reward the hundredth glance. Each one is a chapter of the same idea our life-in-weeks calendar makes visible: ordinary days are the whole thing.

Chapter 1 is completely free — full resolution, no watermark, no email required. Later chapters may be paid packs; following @countyourweeks is how you hear first.

Do they fit my phone?

They are drawn tall (9:19.5-ish) for modern iPhones and Android phones. Set as "fill" and every current screen size crops cleanly — the compositions keep the story inside the safe area.

Why black and white?

Color begs for attention; a monochrome scene sits quietly behind your icons. It is the same reason our calendar wallpaper is one ink — a phone you look at 100 times a day should calm you, not sell to you.
