About these wallpapers

Every file here is rendered by the same engine that powers the Mac app and the calculator — real dot-for-day and dot-for-week geometry, not decorative patterns. They're regenerated on every site build, so the "year progress" images reflect the current date at build time. Sizes cover 5K and 4K monitors, 1080p displays and phones; all are pure black-and-white and weigh little.

The one thing a static file can't do is stay current — tomorrow, today's dot is wrong. That's not a flaw in the PNG; it's the reason the auto-updating app exists. Downloads here are free either way, wordmark and all.
